Every season brings challenges for your skin to face. In the summer my skin gets oily and clogged. Once the temperatures drop it gets dull and red. I can definitely see the difference each season. The lack of light causes me fatigue and fatigue makes my skin kind of grey.
But hey, there are a lot of products out there to beat dull skin and fake that radiance we all have during summertime.
These products have worked wonderfully for me as part of a good skincare regimen. I’ve used them since the end of 2017 and I’ve loved them a lot! Let me know what products you use to get glowy skin in winter.
Use a mist !
Whenever my skin feels dry or my makeup cakey, I like to spritz it on my face. It instantly boosts the hydration and radiance of my skin. And the smell is … incroyable !
Dead skin cells are your worst enemy. They make the skin look dull, uneven and not smooth at all. I have quite a sensitive skin and this exfoliator is quite strong. But I’ve been using it twice a week and it’s so good. It leaves the skin super fresh and smooth.
Hydration is key for great skin. It plumps and gives radiance. For this task, I really like this serum. I’ve been using it for two weeks only and I’ve already noticed a difference.
Use vitamin C !
This super ingredient is the best for radiance boosting. There are several products on the market proposing different concentration of vitamin C. This one is pretty new in my stash so I can’t say whether I like it or not yet. But it suits my sensitive skin. In the past, I liked the vitamin C moisturizer by La Roche Posay. Do your research and find which one is best for your skin.
Whenever I need an extra boost, I reach for one of these. They are good and cheap! Do I need to say more to convince you?
Add warmth !
A subtle tan has never hurt anyone! I like this one because it is so light and it gives a caramel tint to the skin. I apply it once a week, it’s barely noticeable. But just enough to look better.
Use a light boosting foundation !
Of course, the choice of the foundation will depend on your skin type. I have combination skin, but this foundation is my jam! I just powder it on the chin and around the nose. It gives me a beautiful and natural glow. For the oilier girls or for those who like a bit more coverage the YSL Teint Touche Éclat is incredible! But keep in mind that glowy foundation can make you look oily if your skin type goes from combination to oily. So use a mattifying powder, but just a small amount.
Meet your new best friend !
This little pot is a life savior. Apply it with your fingers on the cupid’s bow, top of cheekbones, inner corner of the eyes and on the bridge of the nose! It will give you the most beautiful glow and highlight. Plus, it’s organic! On adore!
