4 FRAGRANCES TO WEAR ON YOUR WEDDING DAY

No big day is complete without a beautiful fragrance.

Whether it’s your signature scent or a new one you chose just for your big day, picking out the right perfume is very important.

This smell will remain in yours and your husband’s memory forever. So chose carefully depending on your character, your mood, and what your future husband loves.

If I were getting married, I would probably wear my English Pear & Freesia by Jo Malone as this is me in a bottle and my love loves it so much.

From sweet to fresh and romantic, here are 4 fragrances for every kind of brides and wedding mood.

Young & Trendy

L’eau N°5 by Chanel

Notes : Lemon, mandarin, orange, rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, vetiver, cedar, and musk

This fresher and younger version of the N°5 is a pure delight. It feels velvety on the skin and sheer at the same time. This smell isn’t heavy, not over empowering, it leaves a very soft sillage just like it’s part of you.

This young & trendy fragrance has kept the sophistication of all the other Chanel scents. It’s elegant but casual at the same time.

rose-de-chloe

Romantic & powdery

Roses by Chloé

Notes : Bergamot, Damascena Rose Essence, Amber Musk

This fragrance is a favorite of mine. It smells like rose of course but a modern rose, it reminds me a bit of a fresh laundry room.

It is light, airy, romantic, flirty, luminous, and I could go on. There’s so much to say about this perfume, it’s super feminine and gorgeous.

And like the Chanel one, it becomes part of you, it’s not too over the top.

Sweet & cute

Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent

Notes : Grapefruit, raspberry, orange flower, white musk, ambrox, patchouli

This one is for sweet girls with princess dresses. It’s the kind of perfume you want to eat, it smells like a candy. It has the perfect amount of sweetness and spice to make it sexy and warm.

And… It will look cute on your vanity too!

Escape

Escale aux Marquises by Dior

Notes : Blood orange, pink pepper, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg, coriander, elemi, lemon peel, tiare, freesia, benzoin and vanilla

I’m a big fan of the Escale range by Dior, I’ve had them all and each one of them invites your mind to travel to a warm destination. Ok, imagine you are getting married in warm Italy, your perfume is soft, subtle, citrusy and refreshing. The Tiare flower here, is soft, clean, airy and it brings to this perfume a sexy tone to it.

Ps: Marquise’s islands are nowhere near Italy, but don’t ask me why, whenever I smell it, I imagine a wedding onto the Lake Como. There is one called Portofino, but I find it too citrusy and over empowering for a wedding.
